History

The Department of Agricultural Chemistry was established in July, 1965 by Prof. Dr. A. Karim.

The Department of Agricultural Chemistry and the former Department of Chemistry started to work together as name of the Department of Agricultural Chemistry from June, 2010.

The Department introduced Ph.D programme in the session of 1968-69 with Prof. Md. Shahjahan Ali.
