General Instructions: Instructions for the use of laboratory equipments, chemicals, filter papers and glasswares with their safety measures.

Qualitative analysis of organic compounds: Formic, acetic, oxalic, tartaric and citric acids; formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acetone, glucose, fructose and urea; determination of melting and boiling points of organic compounds.

Preparation of standard solutions: Primary and secondary standard compounds and standard series; standardization of secondary standard substances. Preparation of buffer solutions.

Acid-base titration: Strong acid - strong base, strong acid - weak base and weak acid - strong base titrations.

Redox titration: Standardization of potassium permanganate solution; Application of redox titration using oxidant and reductant.
